Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, ZTE to launch smartphones with under-display cameras this year

With the upcoming technology trends, smartphone makers are looking at this as an opportunity to integrate into their devices and become a significant competitor. However, many latest features come on smartphones every day; the one created especially for ease of snapshotting lovers is the next-generation under-display cameras.

Many smartphone manufacturers are working on this technology. Samsung, Vivo, ZTE, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Meizu are expected to launch their upcoming phones with new under-display cameras. The device will appear in the second half of 2021. Ice Universe, one of the most authoritative insiders, has revealed that Oppo and Samsung will use under-screen technology in their upcoming foldable phones. At the same time, Xiaomi will add it to the Mi Mix 4.

Vivo has also announced that the NEX 5 will bring a better under-display camera in the second half of this year. ZTE had earlier shown the camera with under-display technology on the Axon 20, but the quality of the camera is so poor that it cannot impress the users. The company has now revealed that it will bring its next-generation under-screen camera to the Axon 30 without giving any details. However, it seems that this time ZTE will bring a better experience for the users.

While these smartphone makers are almost ready to launch devices with this latest trend, if they are successful, many smaller manufacturers will follow it, and just like display fingerprint sensors, in-display camera devices will become the new normal.
