The Punjab Government has suspended face-to-face classes for students in grades one to eight till Eid.
Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Rass took to Twitter on Tuesday, shortly after a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) this morning to review schools’ fate as Pakistan battles the third wave of the coronavirus epidemic. Continues to announce updates—schools in Punjab.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Murad Rass made three announcements, first identifying the cities where Class 1-8 would be closed.
In the second announcement, Dr. Rass provided updates for students in grades nine through 12. He said that these classes’ schools would be open only on Mondays and Thursdays starting from April 19.
He wrote that the ninth to twelve and O/A level examinations would be held in Punjab as per schedule.
