Pakistani gamer Arslan Ash Siddique wins international Tekken 7 competition

Pakistan’s Arslan Ash Siddique has won the Tekken 7 International WePlay Ultimate Fighting League (WUFL) Tournament.

Talking about his victory 25-year-old said that he feels lucky to have won and thanked his family and friends for their support.

Announcing his victory, Arslan Ash Siddique said in a tweet, “I send my congratulations to Allah, and I am incredibly thankful to everybody, the managers, staff, and players, for their hospitality and generosity.

“I am lucky and happy to win the extraordinary event of Tekken 7 in 2021! Thanks to my friends, family, and supporters around the world.

In the final fight, Arslan Ash bowed against Pakistan’s Awais Honey and won the title with a 5:2 score on the board.

Arslan Ash won the grand prize of $15,000 for his victory, while runner-up Avis Honey received $10,000 and bronze medalist JDCR accepted $8,000.

Arslan Ash Siddique has been a part of the Fighting Games Community (FGC) for some time but rose to prominence after defeating Jae-Min “Knee” Bae in the grand finale of the 2019 Evolution Championship Series (EVO).

He was the only player to win the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) in Japan and his American counterpart the same year.

ESPN also named him the best e-sports player of 2019.
