Microsoft has published a significant update to its OneDrive application on Android. The newest update carries help for casting to the corporation cloud-based storage service.
The organization has published version 6.29.1 on the Google Play Store. This version allows OneDrive’s Android users to perform their media lists on a Chromecast fit device. “You can instantly visualize your media lists on a Chromecast receiver or TV from a harmonious device,” the organization recorded in the changelog of the application.
The organization recorded that the original casting choice is possible in the top toolbar in the OneDrive Android application. To use this characteristic, all users want to open a picture or video on their OneDrive for Android application, tap on the Cast symbol in the top toolbar and choose the device you need to cast your content on. Once users choose their fancied device, they will be able to view their content on big screens.
Android Police announces that while the different choices can cast most lists, it cannot cast the lists that cannot playback independently. So, suppose a user is attempting to cast content that OneDrive for Android cannot play on its platform locally. In that case, it may take them into another application after downloading those files to limited storage.
You can download the updated application here from Play Store.
