Karachi robbers steal phones worth Rs400,000 after a man posts an ad online

In Karachi’s Bahadurabad area, a man has put up an online advertisement to sell his phone. But instead of attracting severe buyers, he was robbed of his mobile phone worth Rs 40,0000 by customers.

The incident’s CCTV footage showed the suspects’ faces who had come to his house to loot mobile phones. Meanwhile, the footage also shows that the incident took place at about 8.45 p.m.

According to the Karachi Police’s annual report, last year, at least 20,155 suspects were targeted. It includes 269 suspects involved in high-level terrorism incidents.

According to police reports, more than 764 street criminals arrest and 241 encounters were held with criminals. It said 15 police officers grabbed the martyrdom, and 44 others were injured. Meanwhile, 49 demonstrators and other criminals were killed in the encounter.

Police arrested 3,405 members of 189 gangs involved in vehicle theft, 474 suspects were arrested by police helplines, and 19,909 CCTV cameras installed over the city.
