The Federal government will present the next fiscal year’s budget on June 10, 2022.
Pakistan Government Federal Budget 2022 – 23 Scheduled on 10th June 2022 ( Friday). According to the latest updates the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif pleased to approve the schedule of submission of the budget for FY 2022-23. Pakistan Budget 2022-23 date is Friday 10th June. The official notification about Budget 2022-23 has been issued by Finance Secretary.
Govt to present next fiscal year’s budget on June 10, 2022
Accordingly, the Annual Budget for FY 2022-23 along with the Finance Bill 2022 is scheduled to be presented in the National Assembly of Pakistan on Friday 10th June 2022. In order of the arrangements, it is requested that a special budget meeting of the Federal Cabinet may kindly be convened for Consideration of the budgetary proposals.
Sources also said that the FBR is also working on the next fiscal year budget and the government might set an Rs7200 billion revenue target for 2022-23 after the consultation with the IMF.
Pakistan and the IMF are making negotiations in Qatar for completing the seventh review which is pending for the last two and half months.
According to sources, the government with approval from IMF has also fixed an Rs480 billion Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) for the next fiscal year.
It is pertinent to note that the government had set Rs900 billion PSDP for the ongoing fiscal year but it has been downward to Rs500 with the consultation of IMF.
Apart from the finance minister Miftah Ismail, former finance minister Hafeez Shiekh is reportedly also giving his input to the finance ministry on the next fiscal year budget, sources added.
Federal Finance minister Mr. Miftah Ismail will present the Pakistan Budget FY 2022-23. In this Budget 2022-23 salaries, taxes and other major parts will be considered. This will be the first Budget of the New Government of Pakistan which consists of new and existing Federal Ministers.
The Ex-Finance Minister Shoukat Tareen Presented the budget for 2021-2022 last year. Now new Finance Minister Mr. Miftah Ismail will be on the floor to present the Pakistan Budget 2022-23. This will be the most awaiting budget for the nation as they are expecting exciting changes from this new cabinet.
The date of the Pakistan Budget is 10 June 2022. Venue and timing details will be issued soon. Finance Bill 2022 also will be on agenda. The Ex – Government often presented Mini Budget also.
