Caution! WhatsApp Pink app can hijack your data and credentials

WhatsApp is the most popularly used platform, and due to its excess usage, it becomes a sacrifice of spiteful activities associated with it. Nowadays, WhatsApp Pink Application is circulating to hijack your data installed on the smartphone, and hackers can access your data, including images and videos.

Many people have received a message that agrees to give Pink Color WhatsApp knowledge along with innovations. All they have to do hit on the link, but that link, instead of bringing differences to your WhatsApp, leads to another page with a choice to download WhatsApp Pink Application, which is spiteful.

A cybersecurity researcher tweeted about it to warn people about this application that claims to be WhatsApp but is not.

He also announced that WhatsApp Pink is currently targeting police and media organization. The app has nothing to do with WhatsApp and Facebook, so users should not hit any link that attracts them with different messaging apps.

When this issue reported to WhatsApp, it declared its disassociation with the spiteful app:

“Anyone can get an unusual, uncharacteristic, or suspicious message on any service, including email, and anytime that happens, we strongly encourage everyone to use caution before responding or engaging. On WhatsApp in particular, we also recommend that people use the tools that we provide within the app to send us a report, report a contact, or block contact.”

It is not the first time such a spiteful application victimizes people; earlier, WhatsApp gold was also circulating that agreed to the privacy of many people. Caution!
