Bank Alfalah and Telemart sign Agreement to Boost Business Expansion

Bank Alfalah’s digital e-commerce marketplace for online purchasing, Alfamall, has announced its strategic business partnership with Telemart to digitize cash transactions, enabling Bank Alfalah customers to deliver products instantly and facilitate easy return customers. And will help merchants integrate business areas.

Telemart is one of the first and leading Omnichannel e-commerce websites/applications in Pakistan. Telemart has 11 “physical stores” in seven cities across Pakistan that disrupt and digitize the e-tailing industry.

Telemart and Alfamall began their relationship with Telemart by selling their products and delivering their products to Bank Alfalah customers who placed orders with Alfamall. Following a successful trial run, the partnership extends in June 2020 to enable Telemart to join forces to sell its products in installments. The move brings more flexibility for customers to purchase and further expands the business, with Telemart’s entire segment in Alfamall crossing PKR 100 million.

Mohammad Yahya Khan, Head of Digital Banking at Bank Alfalah, said, “We are delighted to see the overwhelming response from our customers at AlfaMall. Our e-commerce marketplace’s goal is to provide customers with a complete shopping experience while allowing pre-payment options for account debit or card payments. Further expansion in this business will help AlphaMall digitize transactions at Telemart physical stores by allowing customers to deliver products instantly in easy installments.”
