Apple to support employees get COVID-19 shots at its offices

On Friday, Apple Incorporation said it is beginning a program to support workers’ voluntary COVID-19 immunizations at the iPhone maker’s departments.

The organization is working with drugstore chain Walgreens Boots Alliance Incorporations as its merchant and will begin a website for its workers to sign up for appointments, an Apple spokeswoman said.

Apple is one of the first large Silicon Valley corporations to start a program to support workers to get immunized.

Earlier this month, Deutsche Bank AG (DBKGn.DE) became the first big bank in New York to say it would offer workers COVID-19 immunizations at its departments.

Last month, Amazon.com Inc. began onsite immunizations for front-line workers, starting in Nevada, Kansas, and Missouri.
